This is not the first time we have done it, but the first time we have joined a team. In the Prairies, my sister-in-law was running for the cure.
There is not a single person I know who has not been touched by breast cancer in some form in their lives. Whether it is family, friends or others close to us. The event is a chance for thousands of people to show solidarity with the women and their families battling the disease, the treatment and finding the strength.
