Foods from Winnipeg

When we were in Winnipeg last week we got two of our favorite sweet treats. One of Winnipeg classic.

Light cake, cookie base, and super light icing. It was a nice treat. We got it for Husband's 35th.





While at a coffee shop at The Forks, we found a coffee shop staple in Winnipeg. Peanut Butter Marshmallow Squares. Every coffee shop in Winnpeg sells (and apparently in small town Ontario they do appear as well - a co-worker today said she had them growing up) but we have NEVER seen in Ottawa.
