We got the keys to our house this week, and we love it. Although the yard is a jungle and the whole house hasn't been cleaned in a VERY long time (I am thinking when we bought it in January!).
This wouldn't have been too bad except Hedgehog was sick. Not your usual toddler sick, but sick with a virus and rash that required to trips to the emergency room. The rash got so bad and he was so swollen he couldn't open his eyes. It has been awful, so instead of going to daycare and letting us unpack, he has been home clinging to whichever parents he sees. It is so hard and our hearts are breaking for him.
Needless to say the house unpacking is barely touched. We are working to make the main floor safe him to play once he is feeling better, as Husband leaves this weekend for a business trip, but help is arriving in the form of my mom :)
We have a busy few days ahead and a growing list of things to buy to make it work. Now if I could just find the sheets for the spare bed....
