We feel pretty lucky that thus far, Hedgehog has been able to eat pretty much any food we give him, especially considering I am allergic to raw fruit & veg.
One of his favorite things are apples, but I rarely give them to him as chopping them up and touching them causes a mild reaction in me that lasts all day.
Yesterday, just to see how he did, I gave him the whole apple. For the first few minutes he stared at it and was like "Mom, seriously, what I am suppose to do with this?". A few sniffs and a test nibble and the kid was in heaven for the next 20 minutes working away at the whole thing.
