For years he has been my Hedgehog. A boy who would let me pick him up and cuddle. Who from the first days would curl up and nuzzle into our necks. Curl up just like a Hedgehog.
He hasn't done it in ages. So long it feels like he never did it.
He just isn't my Hedgehog any more. He is our oldest, but most likely won't be our biggest.
He doesn't like nick names. We tried a few but he would get upset.
He is just our awesome big.
