We took Hedgehog to the library for the first time today. We were poking around the kids section and Husband asks about their programs. The librarian then asked if we had gotten our free book for out baby yet... FREE BOOK FOR OUR BABY?
Yup, the OPL will give you a free board book for your baby, and cloth bag to carry your library books in.
Very cool.
We put the five options out for Hedgehog to choose from. He chose This Little Piggy, published by Kids Can Press. He basically put the book in his mouth and we felt that was the one that had to come home with us. He has spent the majority of the afternoon chewing on his new book.
